ABOUT US

Fight the Flame began with a spark of resilience and hope in the face of adversity. Once a dedicated teacher who loved inspiring young minds, I never imagined how drastically my life would change after an injury at work. That injury brought Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) into my life, and I became a Pain Fighter, navigating the challenges of this debilitating condition while searching for strength and purpose. Amid this journey, my son Landon, at just 12 years old, ignited the flame that started it all. Wanting to make a difference for me and others battling CRPS, he created the very first Fight the Flame 5K and 1K Family Roll & Stroll. What began as a simple event to raise awareness has grown into a powerful movement fueled by a community of supporters, patients, families, and advocates.

OUR MISSION

We are dedicated to raise awareness about CRPS, advocating for research, and creating a community where no one fights alone. From hosting events to fostering connections, we aim to transform pain into purpose and bring hope to those impacted by CRPS.

WHAT WE DO

  • Raise Awareness: Through community events, social media campaigns, and partnerships, we shine a light on the realities of living with CRPS and the urgent need for action.
  • Support Patients and Families: From hosting support groups to providing resources, we create spaces for connection and understanding.
  • Advocate for Research: We collaborate with medical professionals, fund research initiatives, and push for advancements in treatment and care.

OUR VISION

We envision a world where CRPS is universally understood, where those affected feel seen and supported, and where groundbreaking treatments pave the way for brighter futures.
